Oregon ARES HF Net
The Oregon ARES High Frequency net is held on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the net is to test equipment, operating procedures and skills, and communication pathways. Each of the six Oregon ARES Districts hosts the net twice per year giving a chance for each district to act as network control. County ARES members and their respective Emergency Coordinators are encouraged to check in from their county Emergency Operations Center. Any General Class or higher Amateur Radio Operator can participate from any location.

Wallowa County ARES Net
This net is designed to provide training exercises for Wallowa County ARES members. However, all licensed amateur operators are welcome to participate. Exercises include rotation of the net control operator among WC ARES members, message handling, and failure drills.
If needed you can connect via the internet and EchoLink to node #323569. However, during a failure, for training purposes or for real, you most likely will not be able to connect.

District 3 ARES Net
This net uses rf and EchoLink to join together the counties within District 3. Net Control Operator duties are shared among the participating ARES memberships.

Oregon OADN Connectivity Tests
The Oregon ARES Digital Network (OADN) Connectivity Tests exercise each county's OADN equipment including its VHF packet gateway, HF Pactor equipment, and VHF packet radios. In addition, the tests allow ARES members to learn and exercise their skills with this equipment. A quarterly report is filed by the county Emergency Coordinator with the state ARES office.

ARES National Simulated Emergency Test (SET)
Twice per year the sanctioning organization for ARES, the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) conducts a Simulated Emergency Test.
